The Astros held the Padres to one run in the second inning.

Just saw something I had never seen before in a big league game: an infield double.

Ross Gload of Kansas City hit a slow chopper to second. Second baseman had no chance of getting Gload, but he charged the ball and it hopped over his glove and trickled all the way to the back of the infield dirt. Nobody was there and Gload ran to second with a stand-up double.

John Maine 1 hit through five, rtires 14 in a row after 1st inning single.

Mets, 5-0, rain delay in bottom of the fifth.. a cheap win about to go into the books

D-Lee just hit a two-run homer for the second straight day. Be afraid, Brewers fans. Be very afraid.

Zeke, Garza has looked filthy. Santana looked a tad better last night. If Liriano comes back strong, the AL Central should fear.

Then again, if they can't score more than three runs a game, it may not matter.

Zambrano with his third hit. He's outhitting the Reds today, 3-2.

With a seven-run fourth, the Astros cut their deficit to 12-8 ... only to give up three more runs in the fifth.

Is the SF game on national TV?
I'm surfing and can't find it.
Glad I have XM so I can at least listen.
