Miguel Batista pitched lights out for the M's, 2-0 final over the Angels and Kelvim Escobar. Raul Ibanez, on one leg, made a crucial sliding catch of Vladdy's sinking liner in the 3rd, then Putz took him right up the ladder in the 9th for a K.

Ichiro, 3-4, triple to right center on Japan night in the Safe. Slap hitter. Except when he's not.

Yes, yes, Beckett is good. But Bedard is better. It's 2-0 O's in Fenway right now.

I figure that I would take this moment to announce that I am hereby counting Beckett's All-Star win as a victory as it pertains to my wager with BYH.

We never delineated in the language of the bet, so it counts.

Ortiz hit a two-run shot to cut it to 4-2.

If Contreras continues to keep pitching like shit, ARod will get No. 500 tonight. Cano just crushed a three-run shot, Yanks leading 7-3.

Cabrera just crushed a shitty knuckleball into the leftfield bleachers. 9-3, Yanks.

ARod's swinging free and easy. Yanks are hitting for power. And the White Sox ain't pitching. There's a real good chance ARod gets No. 500 tonight.

Ozzie's act doesn't play well when his team sucks.
When your team is winning being a Hispanic bi polar Forrest Gump is charming, when the team is bad, he's just another dumbass.

Abreu leading off the bottom of the fourth; ARod on deck.

Dye made a great running catch to rob ARod of an extra base hit.

I think it is a good sign for ARod. He's been driving the ball.

If Dye doesn't go running into the wall, the Yankees third baseman is probably standing on second.
