It's one of those Wrigley games: 6-5 Cubs after two innings. Chicago sends 10 to the plate and hits two homers one day after ending a 10-game homerless streak.

Now 6-6 in the top of the third.

Colorado intentionally walks Graffanino to get to Suppan, who delivers a two-out game-tying RBI single. 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth.

Two perfect throws to second from rookie catcher Geovany Soto, two guys called safe. Fuck you, Mark Wagner.

First time, Berkman was safe ... second time, not sure what the ump saw to call him safe.

Welcome back Ron Villone. Torre once again uses him a ton of times and he responds by serving up a go-ahead two-run homer to Carlos Pena. D-Rays lead 5-4 going to the top of the 8th.

Oh, and BYH, Beckett in line for the loss right now.

Yankees rally to take the lead, too bad their bullpen still has to pitch.

Rivera escapes two on no out jam in the bottom of the ninth to give the Yankees a 7-6 win. Boston loses 2-1 to Toronto and the Yankees close within 9 games.

Not as openly adamant about it but I am a Cubs fan too, so I rejoice with the recent success they've had.
