And that's that. Thought TCU was going to finish the Elwayian drive, too.

And Boise State isn't loaded with seniors, no? Not bad ...

I really do like Boise to be in the top three or four to open next season.

It should be. The football factories are running out of excuses to exclude these guys.

    Boise State, co-national champions.

I know the Gators are SEC, but Boise State probably ought to be. At the moment, I believe they're the only team to beat two BCS teams this season (Oregon, TCU), and they dominated both. Alabama would join them with a win Thursday night.

Why not just vote them undisputed national champs and the No. 1 seed in the AFC too? Maybe the World Cup champion too.

I'd vote them second. Seems about right. Wanted TCU to win, but I was impressed with the defensive performance. I think Florida would keelhaul Boise if they hooked up, but the Florida I saw in the Sugar Bowl would have beaten anyone soundly. That said, Bucky's right, enough voters will vote Florida No. 2 (or possibly the Bama-Texas loser if it's a parting-the-sea epic game).

It'd be silly to vote them undisputed champs, there's going to be another undefeated team that deserves their share.

They can't be the AFC champion because they didn't win any NFL games. Same logic goes for the world cup.
