If one team knocks the other team's quarterback out of the game, how does that taint the title?

It's not like McCoy got injured in pregame warmups.

I can see both sides of the argument.

I mean, it can be argued that good teams and programs should be deep enough to sustain a blow like that.

But, it can also be said 'Bama didn't beat Texas at its best simply because the starting QB was out.

But, he was out because 'Bama's defense was so punishing.

Should Bama have just stopped the game immediately after McCoy went out and postponed it to a later date?

Has Saban even cracked a smile yet? Jeezus, dude, you don't have to be so Belichick-ian about it.

I think people are forgetting Ingram missed most of the second half with cramps/dehydration.

Colt McCoy would have helped but Alabama was simply better.

Anybody who says otherwise, is kidding themselves.

I'll ask again....are you serious? Come on now. Show me where I was on the Bama bandwagon. I won't even limit it to tonight. Ever. Just one instance, please. I'm begging you.

He was in the last two drives, he played the first half.

It is not even comparable to losing McCoy for the whole game.

Alabama beat four top ten teams, two of whom went ndefeated in major conferences for the entire regular season. They also survived the SEC.
Boise State beat Oregon early, which is nice. And TCU, who was undefeated. And... who?

Sorry, but no comparison. If Boise wants to be taken seriously for a title, they ought to at least play a tougher nonconference schedule. Is UC Davis even D-1?
