If you are so sure there's no chance, there are places where you make a mint putting your money where your mouth is.

Yeah, it is not like Tennessee in 1998 who was handed a tainted title because they played a team without its starting quarterback.....

TCU versus Kentucky is the same?

Jesus, the degree of shamelessness to which SEC fanboys will go to pump up their conference.

Kentucky on its best day isn't a fleas as on a dog compared to TCU, not even close.

Not the point of the post, but thanks for playing. That was a misstep on my part, and yes, TCU is better than Kentucky, though as I pointed out in that post, the comparison was based on an analysis of Boise's schedule, and therefore an irrelevant comparison, since Boise won't schedule either of them.

But by the way, since you asked, TCU beat Clemson by four for arguably its most impressive win. Clemson beat Kentucky by eight. And for that matter, Clemson lost to South Carolina by 17; Kentucky lost to South Carolina by two.

Perhaps not 'the same,' but I'd venture closer than 'fleas on a dog.'

Clemson probably two or three touchdowns better in that same game against Kentucky at Death Valley. To compare that bowl game and Clemson home game is flat-out wrong.

Duke is, believe it or not, not terrible anymore. They went 5-7 this year and would've gone to a bowl if they had won one of their last four games (which they didn't).

Really - Florida was undefeated last year? Or did they have a loss to Mississippi at home, have little Timmy cry on TV for sympathy points and then get the benefit of the doubt over other one-loss teams whose losses come on the road?

Pesky facts like that really do seem to hurt SEC fanboys flights of fantasy.......

Bugger all. How did I manage to do that? You would think I would remember Florida losing, as much as I enjoy it.

Maybe Mack Brown should have played his second team more this year instead of leaving in Colt McCoy to pad his stats and get some Heisman votes.
