I've drawn up the seeds (hell, the regions, too) but have nothing to play it off on. Oh, well.

In the meantime ... have a beer and relax! :D

That Winter Lager's good shit. Hopefully we can all agree on this.

Do you all realize, by the way, that this argument has forced me to be allied with AQB?! Weird world we live in.

    George Bush still sucks, though.

(Oh, and NCAA 01, I think it was, actually had gave a choice when you started a dynasty of a playoff or playing the bowls. That choice has disappeared from subsequent versions.)

It's pretty telling that the Fiesta would rather have a rematch between mid-majors than a game involving a BCS unbeaten, isn't it? TCU-Cincinnati might have been a slightly more interesting matchup, and I'm not completely sold on that, but even if it is, clearly that's counteracted by Cincy's lacking sex appeal.

I would think that the thought of Brian Kelly perhaps not being around to coach the bowl game may have played a little bit into it

I could see that if he was definitely out the door, but right now he's just a candidate. Plus bowls care deeply ticket sales and TV ratings, which is why Iowa got in before Boise and Cincy. Cincy's desirability and fan base doesn't change with a new coach

Unless it is a case where said coach is believed to be far more resonsible for the team's success than any player on the field. And bowl reps will tell you - they don't like teams who are in transition for a lot of reasons.

I'm not saying that is why TCU and Boise were selected ahead of Cincy but it could have been a factor.

I keep wondering when SportsJournalists.com is going to sponsor a bowl game. How big is the stadium in Tahoe?

Am I the only one who really, really, really wishes he got to see a Cincinnati/Ohio State game?
