In today's Pizza Pizza Bowl in Detroit, announced attendance was 30,311, with maybe 15,000 butts actually in the seats.

Which is probably what a Marshall-Ohio game would draw on a Tuesday night in Athens. ;)

ESPN has learned that Urban Meyer is stepping down.

    If true ... wow.

Bat, we've started five threads on the subject in the last 30 seconds. :D

Oh, I wasn't accusing you of a D_B or anything. More poking fun at three of us for starting a Meyer thread within 10 seconds of each other.

Somewhat tipsy, watching the Car Care (?) Bowl fr/ the in-laws casa in Mexico City. Hurrah cheap Mexican beer!! Anyhoo....couple of observations:

    1. No clue what the dubbed announcers on the Mexico ESPN feed are saying. Oddly...this is a good thing.

    2. They do get VERY excited about big hits.

    3. It's los Panteras de Pitt. However, they've got no spanish equivalent for "Tar Heels"

    4. They can't figure out WTF is going on w/ Urban Meyer.

    5. Dion Lewis is good in both languages.

Ok, time to open another cerveza....

I figure you could have gotten a bigger crowd to watch a student from each school settling this game in Pizza Box Football.
