Mike Sherman mismanaged the clock at the end of the first half? Say it ain't so. [/packers fan]

Mizzou fans need to stop bitching about having to go to one shit bowl instead of other shit bowls. It's ridiculous that a fan base can get their panties in such a bunch over not going to the Insight or Independence Bowls.

I don't give a shit about the Insight Bowl, but an 8-4 team should have dibs over a 6-6 team when the opponent is a traditional SEC power. Beating Georgia would prove something, playing Navy proves jack shit. I'm sorry if my unhappiness about it makes you unhappy. Feel free to put me on blast if it bothers you that much.

Pretty sad that a program is so lowly that they have to go to Shreveport and beat a 7-5 team to prove something.

dools, I hate to break this to you, but Georgia sucks. Beating them proves nothing. I can't even think of what Missouri might prove by beating Georgia.

It would prove they're better than Georgia Tech.

And Navy is a pretty respectable foe. Overlook the triple option at your peril.

OK, let's see, Big 12 program, 30-10 past three years...yeah, real lowly. And I will say facing Navy is much preferrable to me than facing Minnesota.

I'm a little worried about the competitiveness of our national title game if Georgia is this much better than a Texas A&M team that gave Texas all it could handle.

    Not exactly.

I was more than a little worried about that long before watching this game.

Facetious. College football calculus -- if Georgia beats Georgia Tech but Missouri beats Georgia, then Missouri is better than Georgia Tech but not Baylor, which in turn is worse than Western New Mexico A&M Tech, and so forth.

Well, look at what Arkansas did to the Aggies in Jerry World.
