What would that look like? A silhouette of a 7-11 Taquito in a spotlight? A package of store-brand olive loaf? A Notre Dame or Martinsville hot dog? Or do all the TV stations show the picture of the big black dude in the helmet eating the 50-pound burger on their emergency broadcast system?

BCS didn't screw anyone. Fiesta Bowl chose Boise State over Cincinnati. Sugar Bowl got stuck with Cincy. Fiesta Bowl isn't taking a team they don't want just so Boise can play Florida. And Florida is about the only sexy opponent in the BCS -- unless Georgia Tech, Iowa or a interim coach-led Cincinnati team gets you hot and bothered.

For all the caterwauling about the evil BCS and all these machinations they seem to have set into motion to fuck over the cuddly mid-majors, their advocates are the ones that want to tilt the system to favor the mid-majors by giving them better matchups.

Kentucky's AD took a lot of heat over that hire too. Brooks wasn't the fancy hire, he was too old, he had a losing record, etc. And in his first three years, I think UK won a combined eight games. The fan base wanted Brooks and AD Mitch Barnhart out, but Barnhart stuck by Brooks and now he's going down as the most successful Kentucky coach since Bryant.

Brooks is a throwback, too. He's a no bullshit type guy, and he shoots it straight with the media. He hasn't hidden the fact that he doesn't want to coach until he dies, and he's hinted that he's ready to get back to Oregon. He said over the weekend he's 80 percent sure about retirement, but the AD is apparently making a big pitch to keep him around.

If this score holds, the ACC is well on its way to becoming the laughingstock of conferences....

Clemson, one of the top teams, squeeked by a less than mediocre Kentucky team.
    BC lost
    Miami losing
    North Carolina lost
FSU will lose because they suck

Badgers fumble, touchback Miami. Big break for Miami. Keeps this a game.

Luther Campbell is on the phone with Randy Shannon saying "what players can I buy for you to make sure we never lose to a piece of shit outfit like this again?"

The Badgers are a piece of shit outfit... are those your words or Luther Campbell's in this case?

Yes, they are a piece of shit outfit and along with Rutgers, one of the great frauds among college football programs in this country.

I have no respect for any team whose schedule is annualy as ridiculous as this team especially since they annually have good records yet always seem to lose to the two or three good teams they play every year.....

    Wisconsin's non-conference schedule:
2009 - Northern Illinois, Fresno, Wofford, Hawaii
    2008 - Akron, Marshall, Fresno, Cal-Poly
2007 - Washington State, UNLV, Citadel, Northern Illinois
2006 - Bowling Green, Western Illinois, SD State, Buffalo
2005 - Bowling Green, Hawaii, North Carolina, Hawaii

That's 20 non-conference games in five years and only two against BCS Conference schools - Wash State, who sucks, and North Carolina, who sucked at the time.

    Two things;

    1. I was loving the fact that Al whathisnuts for Temple totally outclassed that smarmy bastard Neuhisel by going with the shirt and tie.

    2. I am loving Miami's uniforms for the Champs Bowl. The snowball pants and tops with half the number in orange and half in green. That looks slick.

My Dad on Jacory Harris: "That guy's terrible. You don't have an 8th grader as your quarterback."

I remember after the first game of the season on Labor Day, Florida State and Miami were declared "back" by a lot of their apologists and a big reason was their quarterbacks.........
