I may not be far off, with my prediction of Florida hanging a 50 spot. Cincy is simply out classed in this game. Oh well....I can use a little extra sleep tonight...

didn't Cincinnati finish ahead of TCU in the BCS standings?

Imagine if Texas misses that FG at the end of the Big 12 championship game. Or better yet, don't

This looks worse than Georgia-Hawaii a couple of years ago

Danny Wuerffel was a great college player too. I suspect his will look like a Canton-level career compared to what Tebow will accomplish in an NFL devoid of gimmicky offenses.

Quinn should pull Pike and try Collaros at this point. Pike is no threat to run which has allowed FLA to keep more players in coverage

I see, so when Nebraska fucked Florida in the ass in the national title game in 1995 or when Ohio State did its annual getting hammered by someone in BCS games routine for the past few years, did you said the same thing about the Big Ten and SEC?

There is nothing more ridiculous than using one game -- one in which a team is playing without its coach - to make a blanket definitive statement about any conference.

At this point...makes no difference. They'd have to score 60, in the 2nd half....

Reason whateverthefuckwe'reupto why the BCS sucks:

Cincinnati was ranked No. 3 heading into this game. So all the computers and all the polls and all the variables came up with that collection of talent as the THIRD-BEST TEAM IN THE NATION. To think we were one second away from those guys against Alabama for the BCS title.

You know, maybe it's just me, but I'm not really seeing it.

Um, except that it's pretty fucking clear tonight that this isn't a fluke-type game. Cincinnati, athletically, is not on the same level as Florida. It's not like this is one of the best teams ever assembled. A very good team, yes. But Florida averaged 27 points per game if you take out the three patsies, and the Gators have 30 at halftime. And they've played the majority of the game without their best running back.

Meanwhile, the vaunted Cincinnati offense hasn't done a thing.

I highly doubt Brian Kelly alone could have changed the way this game has gone. Cincinnati, flat out, just isn't as good as Florida.

That might be true but what does that have to do with anything that we are discussing?

I don't think Brian Kelly makes up the difference, but it is clear this team is flat, their hearts aren't in it and the one thing he was a master of was motivation and innovation. I know those excuses are only valid if an SEC team is laying an egg, but Cincy is clearly better than this.

I have no doubt if he was still coaching this game would be closer and more interesting.

That is what is so stupid about the bowl system - well, one of the things -- the games take place so long after the season and after so many changes take place and then people who watch a team for the first time, a team without its coach that lays an egg, say "YOU SEE, THIS TEAM SUCKS!!!"

Tebow cam actually pretty good. Just the sounds of game - no Brenneman or Billick
