Granted it's not an argument of strength but whenever you're talking about # of ranked teams or # of drafted players, it makes for more honest comparison.

Oh I know - I just got a kick out of that press release from the Big East back in April or whatever.

 

Believe that's been a pretty commonly held stat, and has come into use far more of late with quarterbacks like Pat White, among others.
