Hard to bag TCU for playing the Ponies when that is their No. 1 rivalry.

Plus, Smu is on the verge of being pretty good the next couple of years.

And that's not the biggest crime in the world. And Boise has made an open challenge to BCS powers for one-offs on the road, or even 2- or 3-for-1 deals. Crickets.

It has made an open challenge for ONE one-off, on a specific date in a specific year.

And it has claimed to have made that challenge and been rebuffed; it's offered no specific evidence of having done so.

Why should any BCS conference school agree to play in Boise? Why is Boise owed that?

Auburn must have paid some serious cash to get to the Outback Bowl. They should be playing Iowa State in the Independence Bowl.

Yes, that, and 25-0 the past two regular seasons. They are for real. And Armchair, if Texas can travel to Wyoming and UCF, it can sure in the hell travel to Boise, to cite one example.

Thanks a lot BCS, cuz no one wanted to see Boise and TCU take on the big dogs. Let's get a rematch of last year.

Let's just play it Dec. 23 in San Diego and call it the Poinsetta Bowl. Bad move.
