(In fairness, Boise does have two BCS opponents next year -- though they've pretty much set themselves to avoid that annoying little occurrence for about the next five years after that.)

Hard to bag TCU for playing the Ponies when that is their No. 1 rivalry.

You're right, though it seems like a fair trade for Utah continuing to get weight it doesn't deserve this year.

And BCS conference power notwithstanding, Boise's second-best opponent is still either Nevada or Fresno State.

And that's not the biggest crime in the world. And Boise has made an open challenge to BCS powers for one-offs on the road, or even 2- or 3-for-1 deals. Crickets.

And it has claimed to have made that challenge and been rebuffed; it's offered no specific evidence of having done so.

Yes, that, and 25-0 the past two regular seasons. They are for real. And Armchair, if Texas can travel to Wyoming and UCF, it can sure in the hell travel to Boise, to cite one example.
