Ahem.........Unless my math is incorrect - it is not - the Texas Tech win means Iowa must win over Georgia Tech in order for the Fat Big Ten to avoid, what, the fifth or sixth or seventh losing bowl season in a row?

    Just sayin.

Or at least did. East Texas State has a different name now (Texas A&M Commerce?) and I don't remember if there's another Texas school with "East" or "Eastern" in its name.

Nice to see Sparty holdin' up his end, as usual.

Yep, the Big Ten sucks. They should probably drop football. Maybe focus on ice fishing. Or curling.

Please. Summerall and Ware should no longer be employed.
There are too many people out there with far greater skill sets who deserve the opportunity.
Quit the logrolling, and cut the f'n bullshit.

I missed Eddie Money? Dang, I was in the midst of suffering through a 92-27 girls basketball game. The squad didn't reach 100 only because the referees called a lot traveling calls in the final period. The real problem was the losing team kept making two passes then jacking up the ball in fourth quarter.

Dallas and Stephenville are worlds apart. I'd say saying someone is from Dallas when he is from Stephenville is a bit of stretch.

It's over two states, but the Carolinas have all the directions.

Zag, I have to chuckle here. I understand the point you're trying to make. But...come on.

Seriously, you MAY be able to find a Big Te-leven fan doing some sort of actual chest thumping....but I think most of we avowed "fanbois" are mostly breathing a sigh of relief. Three of the four "big boys" have played (OSU, PSU, Wisco, Iowa) and won. The other three teams were very competitive.....very easily could have won. That's progress, which is nice. At least we won't need to hide our faces, for the next 8 months.

    Just sayin....

It remains hilarious that most of the Vegas wiseguys were expecting a broad Big 10 fiasco -- and an SEC cakewalk.

Kentucky, Tennessee and Steve Superior lost on merit. Auburn was
    lucky to escape alive.
    Georgia was damn lucky
they drew A&M. And thanks to Snead's moronic
QBing, it took Ole Miss 55 minutes to gain separation
    on Okie State. Ain't no
    sugarcoatin' it.

No one failed bigger than Snead this year for a player coming into season with such high expectations.
