Holy shit, that's a good point. Cashew chicken counts as haute cuisine there.

I just stumbled on this thread (I literally wasn't paying attention to where I clicked) and was taken aback by this factoid. Wow. That's, um.....pretty weird.

Ole Miss fans have gone from hoping he wouldn't turn pro after this season to wishing he would.

Snead will be fine. He's not going pro until after he's a senior.
His teams have gone 9-4 in the toughest collegiate league in America. Twice.
Everyone can't win the Heisman and budgets being what they are, with what they've surrounded he and Eli with, he's doing fine.
Will he play pro ball? Maybe not.
But he's doing damn fine at the moment, all things considered.
He toughed it out big-time yesterday after taking a big hit. Okie State was a quality opponent, too.

Well, they've gone 9-7 in the toughest collegiate league in America in the last two years. Their 9 non-conference wins aren't much to be proud of.

Still, going 9-7 in the toughest collegiate league in America is somewhat of an accomplishment, I guess.

Louisiana also had the corners covered until SW Louisiana became La.-Lafayette and NE Louisiana became La.-Monroe. Northwestern State (TSTKJC)* and Southeastern Louisiana remain.

Almost said the same thing earlier. I remember when ESPN's bottom 10 had a spot specifically for the 'double-directional louisiana schools." Now, they have a rotating spot for UL-U-Pick 'em (UL Monroe or UL Lafayette).

I was 16 days old when Croce died. LOL

Yeah, Stagger, the 9-7 conference mark really is somewhat positive (in that league)
I was just ranting because I get tired of hearing people go off on folks so much.
    Especially anonymously.

I posted earlier and am interested to know if anyone is with me on this "TCU whips Boise" feeling tomorrow night.
Patterson's done so much and I think it's his program's time for a big win like this.

I think TCU will be out to prove a point tomorrow night and if they have a chance to win by 40+, they'll take the opportunity.

I have TCU winning big in that game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's an absolute stinker because both teams are trying so hard to "prove they belong."

    Why's that weird?

That, plus A&M-Commerce, is the Lone Star Conference North Division in football. Throw in Cameron and Texas Woman's University for other sports.

People involved in the Outback decision wanted a shootout . . .
    and got it.
