I hate that the BCS is on Fox. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate it. Hate it. After a year watching guys who live and breathe college football analyze it like Herbstreit, I have to listen to Jimmy Johnson, who probably last watched a college game (other than scouting) in 1988, and a bunch of other NFL guys fake their way through the week.

 

Agree - everything about it is bad. ESPN has us all spoiled. One thing they do very well .

 

Anyone know the story behind the name of the Boise State Marching Band? They've got some guy's name in front of "Blue Wave." A sponsor?

So far, the only team that has shown it has no business in the BCS is Fox's production team. The director must have the shakes.

The rugby-style running punt is apparently popular again. Eastern Illinois did it for a few years with a lot of success until teams figured out how to defend it.
