Running CFB playoff thread

I would argue that the entire purpose of this playoff is to provide good TV.

 

YouTubeTV with the triple box of FBS, FCS and NFL games is awesome.

 

The people who want four SEC teams in the playoff are from the SEC.

And the people who want four B1G trams in the playoff are from the B1G.

The remaining individuals want some David-Goliath scenarios and a shot for the second tier.

 

No we aren’t . The Ivy League can lose in the NCAA basketball tournament every year and I wouldn’t want them excluded

 

I do think some of these schools with smaller stadiums, like Boise and SMU would benefit from a first round home game, but the CFP probably likes having the games at the Shoe, UT, Happy Valley and Notre Dame for the ticket sales.

 

Penn State was projected to be favored by 11.5 over Boise State earlier this week. The Nits will probably be favored by a little more than that now.

Ferris State easily handling Valdosta in the D2 championship game.

 

I don't think we know that yet. There are probably too many teams in this playoff, but I'll reserve judgment on the future.

 

Aren’t we going to a 16 team playoff soon?

 

Someone explain to me why Clemson on its first drive goes through Texas like shit through a paper hat, but looks like a bunch of bears beating off with boxing gloves on the last 5 drives?

 

I'm sure this group here will appreciate that even though they are the host site for the next round of the playoffs anyway people in bright colored blazers still get to fly to other stadiums to extend official bowl bids.
