How is it Oregon can't win a title?

 

That was me.

If your argument is the two-loss team is better than the undefeated team because the two-loss team won the second time they played, then cool.

I didn't like the playoff going in, and as you can imagine I don't like the playoff now.

Good for Ohio State. They won this time handily.

I know I shouldn't revel in the misfortune of others, and I know USC and Washington were the primary culprits in the breakup of the Pac-12, but damn it was big fun seeing my team's former arch-rival get absolutely destroyed. Better pony up another $10 million, uncle Phil, or build a third indoor practice center or second over-the-top locker room.

The Huskies and Ducks had their hearts broken in bowl season. Wunerful, wunerful. Yes, I am a petty, small person. But pretty typical for a true college football fan who wants to see their rival stomped into the dirt.

If Georgia wins tomorrow, three of the four semifinal teams will be among the regular participants in the four-team playoff.

The “upstart” will be Penn State.

Don't remember which thread it was asked on, but looks like we're getting extended SVP instead of the Sugar Bowl. I think board tradition calls for "Junction Boys," no?

 

We like to joke about this, but attending both the Rose Bowl and parade remain on my bucket list.

Of course if it’s going to be a permanent part of the CFP rotation, I can’t wait until the Hawkeyes are there again …
