I agree doubledown. They have been horsefucked today several times. I don't believe that should have been a touchdown.

A buddy called this the defining game of the Pinkel era.. I'd have to agree. Able to look like a top 25 team and then snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.. all in about nine minutes.

I walked into the office at the nine minute mark pissed that MU was in 3rd and 14 with the clock stopped. I was told that only I would bitch in that situation. When MU completed its collapse, I told the guy I bitched because I know what I'm talking about.

And now that he has his extension safely in hand, I can look forward to more 8-5 seasons and lovely trips to the Sun, Insight and Texas Bowls.. if I could ever actually afford to go to one. Fuck Gary Pinkel.

I can. I've seen it two to three times a year for the last three years. Of course I can believe they fucking blew that game. I knew it was going to be scary if they didn't score at least another field goal after going up 14. MU football fans walk around in hard hats waiting for the other shoe to drop constantly. On days like today I give it a rap and take solace in the knowledge that I'm the smartest MU fan alive. Or at least the most pessimisstic.. and then I feel like the smartest when the gloom and doom scenario takes over. Either way, I'm fucking livid.
