Sounds like me during the first-round NCAA choke-off days. At some point, you gotta let it go or it will eat you alive. Pinkel is Pinkel, and Missouri is Missouri. Your ranting and rage ain't gonna change either. Get off work and get drunk.

 

i don't blame pinkel at all for this.... mizzou got screwed over today big time.... can't put this one on pinkel.

 

How did Missou get screwed? If you catch a pass and then fumble at the 20, it's a fumble. If you catch a pass, gallop through the endzone and fumble, it's a touchdown. Because once you establish possession in the endzone, its a touchdown. I'm no Beaver homer (not this kind, at least), but I fail to see how that wasn't a catch. The "if it was at the 20" argument doesn't apply.

P.S. ANY columnist who bitches about bad calls "beating" a team that surrendered a two-point conversion (and the lead...and the game) on an ensuing off-tackle run needs to look in the mirr'a.

That was the worst play call in the history of 2-point conversions, except for the time our JV coach called an end-around.

... Good thing no bowl took KU to make the conference look even worse.

 

I believe he was referring to the first quarter fumble that was falsely ruled down by contact, and the even worse call on MU's surprise onside kick to start the third quarter.

And Joe, you are a smarter man than me. Getting drunk sounds like a fantastic idea right now.
