So Al Bundy's following up his four-touchdown night at Polk High by playing for Clemson, eh?

Shame pretty much nobody's able to watch Texas Tech-Minnesota. Gophers attempting to the greatest choke job in bowl history. Raiders have the ball with a minute to play at their own 10 and down only 3.

Trust me, I wish I could watch it. Saddam's still dominating the TV, though, here in the newsroom. I'll have the catch the replay tonight.

52-yard FG. Tech outscores Minnesota 24-0 in the fourth quarter.
    Overtime.

    Wow.

Tech with the final 31 points of regulation after Minnesota opened the second half with a FG.

And that's why I never like to see the Jayhawks play Texas Tech. They flat out scare me when they do come to play.

Gophers open OT with a field goal. Tech now will go for the win.

DAMN, I wish I could watch this game. Love me some Mike Leach, too. The youtube with him doing the weather is a classic.

In honor of Tech's 44-41 OT win,

“Now on Monday, it says bad stuff, serious storms, but you’re gonna be dead in a hundred years anyway. Live dangerously. I would go opposite of that. That’s just too strong, too much bad weather, that thing on the screen there is just too sure of it for my tastes. Me personally? Expect sun. Don’t be a coward, stay out in it and enjoy it, and if you run into the bad stuff don’t let it ruin your day.”

“I actually look forward to hail.”

That was an impressive choke, even by Glen Mason's standard.
