  1. There is no way that guy keeps his job at Minnesota. NONE.
Somewhat off topic: Alabama to officially offer Saban a 4 mil/year deal with 7 mil signing bonus. That is a lot of money for one year and takeover the Browns in 08.

Typical Glen Mason football. I fucking love it!!!

The Gophers (and Mizzou to a point) are who we thought they were.

    FRAUDS!!!

How Mason continues to have a job at the U is beyond us.

Or, it could keep UAB in head coaches until 2037....

  5. masson keeps half the Big Ten coaches employed. Every Big Ten team knows it can beat the gophers. Instead of Marty-ball, it should be masson-ball.

Try he has four years left on his contract (He got a five-year extension after last year's bowl game), and the school already bought out the men's hoops coach this season.

No way there is that much coin to pay for another coach to go. He won't go until the end of the next season at the earliest.

At the end of the game, you couldn't tell who was more surprised--Mason or Leach.

    Funny stuff.

Still don't understand why Minnesota re-upped Mason last season, unless they enjoy Nashville that much.

He's 10 years into the rebuilding effort, and Maturi couldn't let him go halfway through.

The rumor in Tiger Town is that all the big alumni have a Saban war chest, just in case Les Miles goes to Michigan in a year or two. That war chest may get tapped into pretty soon. Personally, I think Saban would look like a money-hungry whore going to 'Bama for $42 million. Now, coming back to Baton Rouge for $42.5 million, that's smart business....
