I thought you were referring to Mark Mangino, Ralph Friegden, and Joe Tiller. Oh wait, this is about the Golden Gopher football program, right? They need to lay off the Ho-Hos at halftime.

Of course, a middle of the pack ACC team beat the shit out of a Pac 10 team that kept USC out of the title game too.

Simply, Tech never shows up for big games anymore. Not sure why, but that doesn't mean the rest of the ACC is a bunch of dogs.

2 vs. 5, according to the Worldwide Leader.

Louisville will beat Wake Forest by three touchdowns, maybe more. Just ironic that the second best team in the ACC can't hang with the fifth-best team in the SEC. Just makes you wonder if the Peach Chick-fil-A Bowl gets its wish and gets put in the rotation for a higher-seeded SEC team.
I liked the signs at the game that said eat more peaches and the chickens took our bowl game. They looked high-quality signage, like some guerilla marketing campaign from the chick people.

    Lesse'...

Maryland beat a Purdue team that was 0-4 vs. teams with a winning record this season.
Florida State beat a UCLA team that mediocre in every game but one this season.
Boston College beat a Navy team that finished 1-4 against teams with winnning records this season.

Add In Climpsun's loss to Kentucky (did I justy type that?) and Tech's loss and, yes, the ACC sucks this year.

Florida should not be in the title game.

They started running the Rose Bowl preview stories saying Michigan, not Florida, should be in the title game.

And will anyone watch Miami vs. Nevada?

Oregon State fumbled at the one-yard line in the first quarter, but it was ruled down by contact... even though there was "conclusive" video proof the guy fumbled.

MU's third quarter onside kick, which it recovered, was called back because the officials said an MU player touched it before it went 10 yards. An MU player did touch it.. but only after an Oregon State player tried to recover it and didn't. And that one wasn't reviewed.

And there was nothing "conclusive" about the two-point conversion. The officials stood there for 15 seconds before deciding to call it good. They never tried to break up the pile or anything. Just let the guy root around for a while.

No, the game shouldn't have hinged on that. Yes, MU's defense sucks balls. Personally, I'd take two more possessions and give four or five penalties, but that's just me.

And I'm probably in the minority, but it's high-time MU takes the next step. It's the only DI football school in Missouri, and it's smack in the middle of the state's two biggest cities. The facilities are among the best in the Big 12, and while Pinkel is bringing in some talent, the propensity for brain farts is alarming. If MU could pull its head out of its ass, it should be contending for a Big 12 North title every year.

Yeah, for the once-in-a-lifetime comedy that will be the once-proud Canes on the Smurf Turf. Worth it right there.

BCS Determines No Team Worthy Of Facing Ohio State In Championship Game
COLUMBUS, OH—In what many BCS officials are citing as "proof that their flawless system indeed works," no Division 1-A college football team was found to possess the sheer excellence required to face Ohio State, the No. 1 ranked team since the season began, in this year's BCS Championship game.

So what happens if Florida actually wins? Will DyePack's head explode?
