Yea, the knitter. I love any man who's more domestic than me.

Watching Brennan's second-half performance while talking with family in the family room, I knew he was tearing up the Sun Devils. I just didn't realize how bad the damage was. Wow.

Thank you for the Hawaii recommendations. That added to my evening card winnings.

    Much appreciated.

How about Dirk Koetter last night? 10 point game, just over 3 minutes left and he punts to try and play D against an offense that's used his team as a floormat the entire second half. A minute later, it's touchdown Hawaii and the 41-24 final is set. Way to let it all hang out in your last game, Dirk. The guy learns absolutely nothing from his failures, which is why he's out of a job.

I'm not impressed with Brennan at all. Never mind the bad Caesar haircut or the baggage, he has a flailing throwing motion that NFL scouts will take plenty of issue with after he declares. Yeah, I watched the game last night with about 20 other adolescents. Big fucking deal. It's Arizona State. I laughed out loud when June Jones compared him to Jim Kelly. It's like comparing a tank with a Polish panzur.

I think he is going to be a hell of a pro. And if his senior year is anything near the season he had this year, he's going to be a top first round pick. Pro scouts are already liking him. His throwing motion can look unorthodox, but he has one of the quickest releases you will ever see, he has a knack for finding throwing lanes between the linemen, and he has incredibly good accuracy. He completes some crazy throws, but he doesn't force it too much, which is pretty impressive for a guy throwing that much. I know the defenses he's playing aren't anywhere near what he'll see in the pros and that run and shoot has made many mediocre QBs look better than they were, but Brennan may be the real deal. Guess we'll know in a year or two, for sure, but I wouldn't underestimate this one's pro potential.

Ragu, Rivers has the same throwing motion and has gotten similar criticism. (He does force throws). Brennan doesn't really have a pro quarterback's build, which is why he should play another year. I am not sold on the guy or his talent. As far as the personal problems go, just because ESPN shows him in some meditative repose in front of a purple Oahu sunset set to bad plaintive music doesn't mean he doesn't still have some issues.

By the way, David Klingler is working on a PhD in theology in Dallas now. That's how much all those fancy records added up for him.

You'll see in the next 10 years, most NFL quarterbacks won't "have a pro quarterback's build." Bad analogy.

Prove that, or at least try.

I don't need to prove my opinion. I just think that there will eventually be trend where your prototypical QB won't necessarily be the norm. It's already happend with Vick and VC. Last year in the draft all these pundits where saying VC would not fit in the as a pro. That's obviously not accurate.
