You said they won't have the "pro quarterback's build." Look at Young's vitals and rethink your statement. As far as Vick goes: http://www.sportsjournalists.com/forum/threads/33634/

Another irrelevant game tomorrow night, and then the blowouts resume.

The powers have done a fine job with this year's bowl season.

Did I also hear correctly Jones compare Brennan to Jeff George?

Hey now! No insulting directional Michigan, a fine, upstanding MAC school. [/macfangirl]

I think he meant George's arm — which would be a compliment. JG sucked major dick as a pro, but he could sling the Pigskin like nobody's business.

The smaller these starting quarterbacks get, the more Andrew Walters we're going to see masquerading as pros. That's not a good thing for anybody.

The average size (discounting muscle mass) of an NFL quarterback is 6-3, 215. That might even be on the low end. Brennan has been listed at anywhere from 190-96. And the defensive linemen aren't getting smaller.

You're seeing more and more of kids this age who grew up watching Bernie Kosar, and -- intended or not -- emulating his sidearm-like throwing style. Sam Keller, formerly at Arizona State and Nebraska's starting QB next year, is another one.

I don't disagree with your premise, LJB, but can we give Walter more than a half a season with a joke of an organization and behind and offensive line that can't block you and me before we deem him a fraud?

I kind of wish I would have put more than 13 confidence points on Central Michigan tonight. So be it.

By the way, what is up with the wire not being able to move boxes for these games with any speed. I know this is off-topic, but it's a pain when it's the last thing you need to finish your page.

That sounds fair, but the guy still looks lost as lost can be. Three TDs and 13 interceptions in little more than half a season is usually answered by an organization "We Gave You an Honest Try and You Appear to Suck." There's a reason Sapp went apeshit on the sideline the other night.
