Running College Hockey Thread

Ahhh, the annual rites of spring... birds returning to the north, grass turning green and trees leafing out, and of course, the UNH Wildcats bowing out of the NCAA hockey tournament....

Fell 2-1 today to Miami (OH). The MAC in me wants to curse, but the joy of seeing UNH making that short bus ride from Manchester to Durham makes me positively giddy. UNH was the worst "good" team I saw this season, and I'm glad that every possible advantage still can't help them win a national title.

Meanwhile, the guy reffing the Minn. -- Air Force game should be hung by his thumbs from the fucking rafters.

He's that bad.

 

3-1 Air Force with 10 minutes left ... third No. 1 seed is about to go down in the first round.

Don't know anything about college hockey, but local channel was showing the UAH-ND game on tape delay this morning. Damned if I wasn't living and dying with UAH, despite knowing the result was a couple of keystrokes away.

BTW, what the fuck is Alabama-Huntsville doing playing college hockey ... and apparently playing it well?
