Time to bring this back from the dead?

Season has gotten under way, and there have been a few interesting results so far. Minnesota gets swept by Colorado College at home the first weekend, and CC subsequently gets swept at New Hampshire last week.

One interesting HE game this weekend, Maine-BC. Also interested in seeing how the UNH-Northeastern series goes down.

Maine needs to play better than it did at Denver if it wants to win that one, though.

Was in Denver last weekend for the World Series, but was bummed not to see a DU game while I was there. They were hosting Minnesota-Duluth. I like Colorado College, too.

Probably. BC is ranked fifth, Maine is 12th.

    Maine player suspended ...

ORONO, Maine (AP) — A University of Maine hockey player has been suspended following an incident in which he was accused of grabbing a woman’s breast.
Police say 21-year-old Tanner House was charged with unlawful sexual touching and assault following the incident early Sunday at a lounge near campus.
House, who’s from Alberta, Canada, has played in all seven of Maine’s hockey games this season and has one goal and one assist. A university spokesman says he’s suspended indefinitely until Athletic Director Blake James can review all the facts.
Last month, UMaine President Robert Kennedy doubled penalties for student-athletes who violate their code of conduct. All told, at least 15 different student-athletes and three coaches have faced legal trouble since last spring.

Would it be quicker to mention the teams not receiving votes?

Their shitty out of conference record will do that all by itself, slappy.

Somebody should have stayed in the WCHA, methinks.
