Tom Pohl, the University of Minnesota hockey player who suffered a severe head injury last week was released from the hospital Friday. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Thanks for posting that, Rough. Great to hear that he's out of the hospital.

Also great to watch the Gophers win another OT game last night. This team has a hell of a lot of heart.

UMM Michigan in 98 and MSU in 07 would be two. Not one.

Tom Pohl interview. Glad he's OK. Frightening injury.

And Michigan in 96 would be one more...

Got bored watching NCAA hoops tonight... I see that Michigan is in (Sauer stood on his head in the last two minutes) and either Sparty or Notre Dame is going to Frozen Four with Miami having a shot at it tomorrow.
    How'd the WCHA do?

HC & I were in Boston over the weekend and thought of going out to Worcester to see BC play Minnesota--until we found out it was about an hour and a half by train.

Watched most of the game in our hotel room.

Sorry for your loss, Rosie. BC kinda laid a whipping to Minnesota 5-2.
Good hockey but kind of a crappy game. And then BC beat Miami yesterday to go to the Frozen Four.

This guy and I are cheering for North Dakota.

    Go Sioux!

Doesn't he need the Catholic vote in Pennsylvania and Indiana?

    Go Irish!

The thinking is that he can live without the votes of both Notre Dame hockey fans.

In North Dakota, however, the Sioux are king.

I already voted for him. So I guess that leaves one.
Never hurts to wrap yourself in the Golden Dome, though. Maybe he could split the difference and just say Michigan sucks. Their votes don't count anyway.
