    Favorite - BU. And overwhelmingly.

Dark horse - Ohio State or Vermont (or UNH, if they finally get their tournament stuff together). The question about Vermont is goaltending. Rob Madore has been a formidable freshman but the lack of experience could hurt him.

    Fear the Bulldogs, people.

If they play the way they've been playing, they'll beat anyone in the tournament.

If they cool off, they could be one and done.

Good call on UMD, also. That Minny region's pretty much up for grabs.

  4. Anybody know if it's possible to watch the UMD game online tonight? It's on ESPNU, and I don't have that at home. I looked on ESPN360 and it's not listed on the schedule.

  5. Zeke, you just became my favorite SportsJournalists.commer (well, now that Jonesy doesn't come around much anymore). Let's go Dogs!

Final from Bridgeport Upset City: Air Force 2, Michigan 0.

  7. Miami up on Denver 4-1 after 2. Looks like two No. 1 seeds going down. Take that men's basketball!

    Lamoureux for Hobey!

Good for Air Force. Proof that the postseason can be unpredictable. That was one of the ones I did not see coming, but any time a national power is upset, I won't complain.

Not surprising that Michigan lost (to Air Force is a shocker tho)... the Woofies tend to float on defense and can put a ton of offensive pressure on a team, but not always get the puck on net.

UMD came back to beat Princeton in OT, scoring two goals in the final minute of regulation - the tying goal with less than a second left.

Rosie, proud UMD alumnus, is ecstatic. :)
