This proud former Wildcat (a member of the UNH sports hall of fame and the men's hockey Century Club) approves of today's outcome.

That's what it said in the yearbook, Double J.

That was a great game - UNH played the way it was capable of playing (and has played at times this season) and it's good to see Dick Umile get that monkey off his back.

And yes, I was pissed about the lacrosse being broadcast instead of UNH-UND.

Flipping between the Bs and BU. BU was up 5-0 and now up 8-3 ... got the seventh goal when OSU pulled the goalie ... with 6 1/2 minutes left in regulation, opting for a sixth skater in a desperate attempt to get a goal. Um, you really can't do that against a team of BU's caliber.

And Bemidji State just knocked off Notre Dame 5-1. The more upsets I see like this, the more I'm liking this tournament.

So, I haven't seen Notre Dame before today.

I'm going to assume that they didn't look like they were skating in mud all season.

They lost to BC in last year's national title game. They were not crashing the net at all tonight.

And UMD just had a goal waved off, player's foot in the paint. 1-0 Miami-Ohio.

I don't like that call, the player seemed to be kept from leaving the crease by the Miami player.

  9. ND LOST??? wow. and all the excitement I had after winning the CCHA and beating Michigan. shocking

That was what the UMD coach was arguing, and what the announcers were saying.

Miami-Ohio has been really successful in its penalty killing ... and Justin Mercier just scored on a blast from the point. 2-0 Miami.

Vermont is going to win this in 2 OT after a goal review minutes after the fact ... puck definitely went through the net.

Man, that's a tough call there. Looks like it should go through the net.

And here comes the decision -- GOAL! VERMONT WINS!
