What? No mention of Union and Quinnipiac's 5-overtime game on Friday?

Also, Alabama-Huntsville won the final College Hockey America championship - the Chargers will play as a Division I independent next season.

No need to Fear The Gopher this year. Not only are they not in the WCHA Final Five but St. Cloud and UMD are. That's got to piss some people off.

Is Don Lucia going to be looking for work soon?

And New Hampshire is on the bubble (15th in the PairWise) after being knocked out of the Hockey East playoffs by eighth-seeded Vermont ... with the Wildcat faithful calling for Dick Umile's head (again). Maybe Don Lucia can make it work in Durham ...

The women's college hockey championship game will be played tomorrow in Minneapolis at Ridder Arena.

Cornell and the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

    Go Bulldogs!

A_QB, The Don gets one more year, I think.

Edit: Maybe not one more year? Is this serious?

Michigan wins the CCHA tournament as a SEVENTH seed. They advance to the NCAAs for the 20th consecutive season.

They also won with a backup goalie, who had played something like 20 minutes in his career.

Probably would not have made the tourney if they hadn't won it.

    Probably?

Well, since NCAA selection committees don't like to watch games before they do the brackets, who knows what would have happened. :D

Man, good game too between NMU and UMich. At least NMU was already in, so the CCHA basically flipped Ferris St for Michigan in the tourney. GO CATS!

North Dakota was facing St. Cloud State (according to the WCHA site).

    Don't know who won.
