My ex used to dress our dog in an A-Rod jersey.

    (She was a Yankees fan.)

I thought this would be a Doonesbury thread.

This is Brindal, our Catahoula mix rescue. She loves running and eating table scraps.

If you have the patience for a one minute video... While Gadget was sleeping at the back of the crate in the corner of my office, John Robie curled up and fell asleep at the front of the crate. John Robie, who died last fall, was the alpha dog. Gadget learned the hard way John Robie did not like to be startled awake.

Watching Gadget try to figure a way out of his predicament cracks me up

Dogs are so funny in their mannerisms and the things that stick in their minds.

Good job, Gadget. I was rooting for him.

When I kiss my dogs do they know that's affection?

When they lick my face are they giving it back?

I have always believed that is the case. The most interesting dog-related thing I've read recently described why your dog stares at you while he/she is pooping. That is when they feel at their most vulnerable and they are making sure you are there to protect them if something happens.
