    I think Conan has been terrific, but the awards, on the whole, have been one long string of WTF?

    Exceptions: Piven, The Amazing Race (still the coolest competition show on TV, period) and KIEFER!

    Jack Bauer just won an Emmy. Because even the Academy doesn't @#$@#% with Jack Bauer.

    Gandolfini not being nominated was an incredible snub.

    And, 24.....

    Twice I have just not gotten Emmy selections for best Drama Series.... The X-Files and 24.

    I'll never get it.

    It's like Crash as best Picture, to me.

    Though I do like Kiefer.

    I thought Gandolfini deserves a nom, but I think it's a crime that Edie Falco didn't get her props. She carried that show during the first part of the season. I thought she not only deserved a nom, but a win.
