Hell, at least Tomlinson and a top-line QB

...or, if someone needs a WR badly and is solid at QB, I could see Brady being dealt in a Randy Moss package. Wouldn't be my first choice -- that would be LT -- but that way he can still benefit some from Brady's/Pats' dominance evne if he loses Brady.

Brady is the one untouchable player in the NFL. In the leagues I'm playing, he averaging about 55-75 points a week, and that'll beat any quarterback by at least 15-35 points every single week. Brady is almost a guaranteed win. This might be a coincidence, but the three teams that have him are a combined 18-3 (7-0, 6-1, 5-2). Substitute Brady with anyone, Manning included, and the record would drop.

no way I trade Moss AND Brady. Moss is on pace for 20 touchdowns. I think I'm set for now. I won the Chatman sweepstakes in my league. but I am gonna try to deal alexander and chad johnson or stallworth for a better RB.

I was lucky enough to snag Brady in a Yahoo league and I'm 6-1 (only loss was by a half-point when I had six or seven players on a bye week). He's carrying my ass. The only way you trade him is if you get two or three top-10 players back, guys you know are going to score every week. Not many fit into that category. Maybe Moss, LT, Palmer or Manning. Unless you're certain you're filling multiple holes (much like Mr. Brady himself ... Ba-ZING) hang on to him for the duration.

Have my flex spot up in the air.

Right now I've got Travis Henry vs. Green Bay (with Selvin Young just in case). But, I also have Jesse Chatman and LaMont Jordan.

My gut tells me to just wait until Monday and play Henry or Young, depending on reports. I don't think Jordan will do a thing this weekend against a Titans D that has been incredible against the run. Chatman vs. the Giants seems like it might be a good play, but who knows what's going to go on with the Monday night game.

    Thoughts?

  7. Crap, those are all tricky plays...I think since Henry is doubtful and Jordan is in a weird situation with Rhodes, I'd go with Chatman. He seems to have more upside right now.

    Now my question:
I have Greg Jennings (WR - GB) starting in my 3rd WR spot. He's playing Denver Monday tonight. I also have Lee Evans on the bench (vs. the Jets). My thoughts are that the Bills are going to run more against the Jets so the better play is Jennings. But Evans has been hot lately. What should I do?

So ... do I finally put No. 2 overall pick Steven Jackson back in the lineup today? My other RBs are Drew, Graham and Thomas Jones. I have to start two.

I'd say Evans, if only because Champ Bailey is probably going to play some and the Packers are going to run the ball ... a lot. The Bills will still throw when they can and this game could be big for Evans, who could have a deep ball or two if/when the Jets stack the line.

If Jackson tells fantasy players to play him, I'd say it's a safe bet. Especially since they're playing against Cleveland. Jones isn't a bad play against Buffalo, either.

Got quite the conumdrum on my hands. My first-place team was offered a deal: Laveranues Coles for LenDale White, straight up. My first thought was if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But then I looked at my depth:

WR: Randy Moss, Coles, Andre Davis, Deion Branch & Ted Ginn, Jr. (we count return yards)

RB: Brian Westbrook, Adrian Peterson (MIN), Frank Gore & Brian Leonard

In my 10-team league, there are a few decent WR free agents, but almost no usable RBs left. There's Derrick Ward (who's hurt, on bye & is second banana to Jacobs), Warrick Dunn and that's about it. Not really too thrilled about my RB depth, so I've been giving this some thought. Advice?

Actually, and I might be reading this wrong, if you're saying that you'd make this deal because you think you have good WR depth, I'd say you're off-base. In fact, I'd say you have FAR better RB depth (Westy, AP, Gore, even as shaky as he's been, as a #3!, and Leonard if SJax stays banged up is nice depth). After Moss (who has the bye week 10 like Coles, so you'll be reeeeal thin next week regardless) you really have a bunch of ?'s: Branch just getting back, Ginn not doing a ton outside of return yards and now possibly Beck starting after Miami's bye, and Andre Davis facing the return of AJ, Walter surpassing him, and a possible QB shakeup with Schaub/Rosenfels, etc etc. I'd keep Coles, scan the waiver wire and grab a WR there if you have someone else you can drop (extra TE, D or K?). Who's available? DJ Hackett? Chris Henry? Stokley? Reggie Brown? Patten? Any one of those guys would be worth a flier in your shoes.

That said, if you have no scruples and want to sell some slightly damaged goods (which no one should do, IMO), Coles has a concussion and might not play this week, meaning you'd miss him for two weeks (bye week after this one).

But the biggest ? that I should have asked up front is: how many do you start at each position? If you can start 3 RBs and 2 WRs, you're fine with Moss/Coles/Westy/AP/Gore..no need for LenDale. And LenDale's no sure thing with Chris Henry coming on, either.

Two each at RB and WR, plus a W/R flex option.
