  1. WR quandary:
I have 5 decent receivers in Cotchery, Lee Evans, Dwayne Bowe, Greg Jennings and Brandon Marshall. I also have Rudi and Earnest Graham for the flex spot.

The line up I decided on today is Cotchery, Evans, and Marshall as my WR's and Graham for my flex.

Rational - Bowe is going up against GB who have some decent CB's. Jennings is going against KC, who aren't great, but are a worse matchup than Cincy (Evans), Washington (Cotchery) and Detroit (Marshall). And Graham has a chance to be a stud in TB's O against Arizona.

Am I over thinking or missing something?

It's a tough league, but I have no idea what he was thinking/doing.
That said, I was 1-8 in the first half and now have a chance to win a first or second in my division in the second half.

Just made the following trade in one of my leagues:

GAVE UP: Larry Johnson, Donovan McNabb, Tony Gonzalez, Marcus Colston
RECEIVED: LaDainian Tomlinson, J.P. Losman, Earnest Graham, James Jones

It's probably lose overall. We go by standings for a playoff tournament, but 70% of the winnings go to the overall points leader. While my team will most likely make the playoff tournament (4-4 record, five of 12 teams have worse records and eight teams get in), I'm in fifth in points overall, 137 behind the leader. I had to make a bold move -- losing Ronnie Brown and losing out on Chatman due to my spot on the waiver list didn't help.

I'm hoping LT goes on one of his patented rolls, and it was big to make this for this week as Losman could explode againt Cincy. Since it's a PPR league, Graham could continue to have some nice value. Gonzalez has been great, but I've got Olson as a backup so I think I can get by there without losing too much.

If Colston and McNabb return to last year's form, then I get hosed big time.

What do you think, did I rip myself off?

If McNabb was your No. 1 quarterback, then yes. As much as the Eagles are struggling, Losman just blows. Jones and Graham are going to be hit or miss. All you really gained here was LT. As good as he is, I'm not sure he's worth losing a top-10 back (Johnson), a solid if underperforming QB (McNabb), and a WR whose team is starting to come around (Colston). Like you said, you needed to make a move. Just not sure that was the right one.

It depends on who your starting quarterback will be. Last I checked, Losman isn't even the Bills' starting quarterback. Tomlinson is a tremendous pull, and no one -- save for Brady -- can pile up numbers like he can. I've usually got Gonzalez on every team of mine because I don't think there's a better tight end in the league, although Dallas Clark, Antonio Gates and Jason Whitten are definitely approaching him.

If you've got an otherwise solid team, especially a competent passer, I think you'll be OK.

Here was my starting lineup going into this week before the trade:

    QB McNabb
    RB Larry Johnson
    RB Fred Taylor
    WR Patrick Crayton
    WR Marques Colston
    TE Tony Gonzalez
    FLEX Arnaz Battle
    K Stephen Gostkowski
    DEF New England

    Now it will be:

QB Donovan McNabb J.P. Losman (perhaps Kurt Warner going forward?)
    RB Larry Johnson LaDainian Tomlinson
    RB Fred Taylor
    WR Patrick Crayton
WR Marques Colston Arnaz Battle/Jerry Porter/Nate Burleson
TE Tony Gonzalez Alex Smith (Greg Olson going forward)
    FLEX Arnaz Battle Earnest Graham
    K Stephen Gostkowski
    DEF New England

I guess I'm basing a lot of it on hoping Losman has a big game against the Bengals this week and that Colson/McNabb keep muddling along. Since it is based on overall points for the big prize, one big week could get me right in there. But it is a longshot.

I've decided to start Marshawn Lynch over Adrian Peterson based on matchups. I guess I will find out tomorrow if this was a good idea.

Just dropped the Philadelphia Defense and picked up the Oakland defense for this week's game. I figure in the league I'm in that uses team defenses there's enough quality defenses still on the waiver wire where I can attempt to play matchups each week (or just reclaim the Eagles on Tuesday morning).

In my other league we uses individual defenders and that's more of a challenge.

Quick question...I need to fill a third receiver slot with either Ronald Curry (vs. Houston), Roddy White (vs. San Fran), or Derrick Mason (vs. Pittsburgh). I have Curry in there now, but there's some scuttlebutt about an injury. Would y'all swap him out for White? I don't like Mason at all against the Steelers.

I had Brown, Cadillac and Wynn, too.

I dealt Wynn and Williams, luckily.

I can't stand Shaun Alexander, but I have to decide -- him or Selvin Young.
Young had a pretty good game last week, but Travis Henry's supposed to be coming back. Thoughts?

    Running back question:

    Need one of these

    Chris Henry v. CAR
    K.Faulk at IND
    T.Jones v. WASH

I'm thinking Henry or Faulk ... and leaning toward Faulk

EDIT: Should be mentioned this is a SCORING-ONLY LEAGUE (NO YARDAGE POINTS)
