Lynch just broke off a 56-yard TD run AND he's thrown a TD pass.

Apparently I should have started Peterson over Tomlinson.

I'm about to start Lynch and Peterson next week and bench Tomlinson.

I don't think I'd ever bench Tomlinson. He way too dangerous.

Sorry, should have used the blue font. It is just frustrating because while Peterson obviously had a huge day, Lynch outscored Tomlinson by 14 points. So, trading Peterson out for Lynch would have only resulted in a five-point gain.

Edit: What a waste for my 9,000th post.

I'm glad you were joking. Anytime a running back can run, catch and throw for a touchdown, you've got to play him.

Trade Tomlinson and get as much as you can from him. His season, like his team, is going nowhere fast. There's gotta be some mope out there that'll pay a king's ransom for him.

Agree with this to an extent, as LT's schedule coming up is indeed brutal: IND, @JAC, BAL, @KC, @TEN...but if your team is strong enough to handle some possible down production from LT weeks 10-14, you get two gifts in playoff weeks 15 and 16 -- DEN and DET.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Detroit's defense. Yes, they haven't gone up against the very best rushers in the league, save for Adrian Peterson in Week 2 and Brian Westbrook in Week 3. But, they have won three in a row while giving up only 30 combined points. In each of their last two games, the Lions gave up just seven points. It is highly unlikely that San Diego's offense will morph back to it's 05-06 form, so I'd still feel confident trading away Tomlinson... as long as I got at least equal value in return.

For the record, I picked Henry over Faulk and not because of this post. Yet, I still want to kick someone in the sack.

Damn, Angola. If I keep this up, should I get some sort of a prize for turning around that shipwreck of a team into what it's become? Three straight wins with that roster is fairly impressive.
