Well, it's a gamble, as most trades are. I think you should stay with Welker, but it's not a bad trade if you don't. If you can win this week without Welker or Colston, I wouldn't rush to a decision.

By the way, who's your quarterback?

I started the season with Rudi Johnson and then picked up Kenny Watson. Now I have both, and don't know who to start or if I should keep them both on the bench. My instinct is to start Watson (I just don't think Rudi is that good).

    OK, kids. Need one:
    Cooley vs. the Eagles
K2 vs. the Steelers (he's a soldier, don't you know?)

    And one of these:
    Priest vs. Denver
    Chatman vs. Buffalo
    Selvin Young vs. KC

Rudi. Everything I've read has said he's healthy.

I'd go with Winslow over Cooley, only because he looks to be a better target for Anderson -- a better, more consistent quarterback.

And I'd actually go with Holmes over Young and Chatman. Holmes is more experienced, and I don't think Denver will be expecting too much out of him. I don't think you'll get much out of Chatman and Young anyway, so why not go who once was the league's best back, even if he's coming off a long hiatus?

Team defense. Scoring is: 1 pt. per sack, 2 pts. per int, fumble recovery, safety, and blocked kick; 6 pts. per TD, and then a sliding scale based on points allowed: 10 for a shutout, 7 for 1-6 points, 4 for 7-13 points, 1 for 14-20, 0 for 21-27, -1 for 28-34 and -4 for anything over 35.

The question... do I go with Detroit's hot defense at Arizona or do I go for the Falcons' defense on the road against a third-string QB? Other top defenses available based on the scoring are: Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Colts, and Jacksonville. I'm reluctant to go with the 'Skins defense because I have a feeling this is the type of game where McNabb will be out to prove the critics wrong and have a big day.

Stick with the Lions. Stay away from the Giants and the Cowboys this weekend, although I like New York just about any other week. The Colts have the Chargers and the Jaguars have the Titans. Playing a Carolina offense can be tempting, but Detroit has been much better as of late. Stay with the Lions.

Some guy just dropped Marvin Harrison in my league.

I picked him up and dropped Chester Taylor. I know he has missed a ton of games, but it seemed really dumb to me to drop Marvin Harrison.

    He's still good, right?

  10. Wow, Angola, are you like the Patriots of this league?

Ok, yeah, Harrison has been injured for a while. But, seriously, a chance at an active Harrison is better than Chester Taylor, who's behind Adrian Peterson now. If there's ANY chance Harrison comes back at all (not hearing that he's seriously injured) he's got to have more roster value than Taylor, now that Peterson's had his coming out party.

And, from what I remember, you're rock solid or RBs anyway, right? If not, I'm sure you can completely fleece somebody in your league.

  11. A little help please ...

    1) One of these three ... Greg Olsen vs. Oak, Vernon Davis vs. Sea or Eric Johnson vs. St. L

    2) Two of these three/four ... Priest Holmes vs. Den, Selvin Young vs. KC or maybe Gore vs. Sea. I could try to pluck Michael Robinson off the waiver wire at the last minute (like I did last week). To do that though, I'd have to drop Young on Monday because of a roster crunch. And, obviously, there's no guarantee of Robinson being there on Monday.

    3) Three of these five ... Boldin vs. Det, Branch vs. SF, Shaun McDonald vs. Ari, Roddy White vs. Car and Chris "I know he's a thug" Henry vs. Bal

You're still a spoiled fuck, right?

Seriously, how the fuck do those other idiots plan on competing in your league? And it is your league. I'm sure you're reminded of it every Monday and Tuesday morning when you see another win appear in the standings.

And yes, Harrison is still good. The Colts are bringing him back little by little. But he should be ready in the next week or two.

Damnit, Angola, why can't I play with those schmucks?
