I had Moss, TO and Chester Taylor rolling for me today.

Keeper leagues or one-year drafts? What do you prefer?

I've only done a keeper league in baseball, and I like it. But there's something to be said for drafting a new team from scratch each season; it gives me a chance to have players I don't usually get to have on my teams.

I've say I prefer one-year drafts over keepers.

I'm in a keeper league for baseball now and I really, really like it. But with the group I have in fantasy football it tends to change every year, so I can't see us doing keepers, though I wouldn't mind with the team I have.

How many keepers do you have in your baseball league?

I'm looking to start up both baseball & football leagues next year, albeit in real life. Recruiting strangers on the interweb can get very, um, complicated. Plus, nothing beats having a live draft party at someone's place. Riffing on your best friends never gets old.

I'd do this, but my good friends that do fantasy sports with me are scattered across the country.

Suffered my first loss of the season last week (by five freakin' points), but bounced back hard this week with a 198-point effort in a complete rout. And to think, I was trailing by 30 points going into the afternoon games. Then T.O., Brady and Moss went crazy for me and got me within two points of 200.

198 points is sick. Sounds like your scoring is similar to my league. I scored around that many one week, but I can't remember how much it was.

    Edit: I had 196 in Week 6.

We had four last year and six this season. I think it's going to be six from here on out.

Yeah, 13 touchdowns between three players is a pretty good start.

Interesting. I can understand why you would like the one-year drafts then. I had to fight to get our league up to 3 keepers and they are broken down by category: 1 pitcher, 1 hitter and 1 under-25 guy.

If I had 6 keepers, then it would start to be too much about how great your draft was 5 years ago.

You'd really hate my league with 14 keepers then. :)
