I like that descriptor: "the alternate Adrian Peterson"

I had a first in any fantasy league moments ago. I checked my e-mail and saw someone in my Yahoo! league (two keepers per season) offered up Peyton Manning for Tony Romo.

And I'm thinking about turning him down.

Did you ever think you'd say that? I know I would never have considered it before this season. But I'm not sure which way I'd lean now.

Never thought I would be typing that scenario on this thread when the season began. And I never thought I would be torn about which way to go on it. Just a bizarre twist, and I have no clue what to do.

I think a lot of what you should do is dependent on what Harrison can do. If he's going to return to the player he was before this season, I don't think I'd get rid of Manning. But, Christ, look at the weapons Romo has -- and Glenn isn't even in the lineup.

But then you've got Clark, Wayne and a healthy Harrison. ...

    Good luck, good sir.

If it were me, I'd keep Romo. He has 7 games of 275 passing yards or more to Manning's 4 this season. In the past month (last 4 games) his stats blow Manning's out of the water, and Terrell has his head screwed on this season.

Another thing to consider might be comparing the defenses both teams will face down the stretch, and consider that the Cowboys might have less incentive to rest their stars if they're still locked in a battle with the Packers for home field in the playoffs. Colts gotta think they can't beat out the Pats for No. 1 in AFC and might be likelier to sit guys in the second half in the last couple games. That's my 2 cents.

  7. ok, just want to double-check here since this is pretty much a must-win for me to make the playoffs ...

start Favre tonight instead of Garard on Sunday, right? (i'm just a little concerned because of Favre's history in Dallas (no wins) and Garard does face Indy w/o Freeney)

so just set me straight and say start Favre

Start Favre. Don't even think twice about it.

Tough decision here: I need a RB2 for this week. Brandon Jacobs & Marshawn Lynch are hurt while McGehee is facing the Pats. Should I pick up Justin Fargas against the Broncos (29th vs. the run) or Thomas Jones against Miami (30th vs. the run)?

And yes, I am aware that I'm playing complete idiots in this league. There is no reason for either of those guys to be free agents.

I'd go with Jones, but that might just be me.

If you own Brett Favre, you start him.

I swear, people make this shit WAY more complicated than it is.
