Favre over Garrard? That's like asking if you'd rather get blown or get prison fucked.

You also should also learn to spell Garrard.

    So, you're saying start Garrard?

The only way you don't start Favre is if you have, say, Brady or Peyton as well. Otherwise I can't fathom even asking the question.

especially when it's Favre vs. Garrard.

  5. I hope I'm wrong here and he comes back and provides me with his usual sterling performance, but right now that decision to start Favre isn't looking so good as he's produced -2 points so far. And perhaps more shocking - he's out with an injury. :-[

I didn't think it was reason enough to actually start Garrard over Favre, just maybe to consider it for a second, but maybe there was something to the no wins by Favre in Dallas thing.

This fantasy stuff is killing me right now. I could have clinched a playoff spot if I had started ANY one of the people I left on the bench last week. And now I'm off to a horrible start this week, because Brett Favre of all people leaves a game injured.

That sucks. I, too, am in the same boat with one team. Thankfully I've already clinched a berth.

I guess the only people more upset are cheeseheads.

  8. BTW, why couldn't the Packers play like this - the way they've played ALL year, when Favre was in there? I mean, I guess I could stomach better being left with a small amount of points because he left with an injury better than freakin' negative points. But I'm still shocked he left with an injury. It's like a double whammy.

    Need some lineup advice...

We start two RBs and a flex. I have Jones-Drew, McGahee, Adrian Peterson (Minnesota version) and Chester Taylor. I want to put Peterson back in, but the injury and the splitting carries scares me. Given the matchups this weekend, how many of you would sit either Jones-Drew (vs. Indy) or McGahee (vs. New England) and roll the dice by playing both Minnesota backs (vs. Detroit; they could combine for a solid day).
Keep in mind, a playoff berth rides on this and I'm already kicking myself for leaving Ryan Grant on the bench.

So, which Adrian Peterson do I start?
All Day Adrian vs. the Lions or alternate Adrian Peterson vs. the Giants?

    Another Adrian Peterson question.
Do I start him (the MN version) splitting time, or DeShaun Foster (of the -1 performance last week) against the 49ers?

Given how Minny's been running the ball, I'd start the two Vikes and sit one of the other two, probably McGahee. But, then, I don't have a playoff berth riding on it.
