And he's got it. Looks like I'm crossing the state lines tonight -- all for Bill Lawrence and Co.

Uh, I don't really like downstairs.

Oh, boy. Space Invaders. This is amazing.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the last scene. I told my buddy, "Hey, what are they saying?" That Bill Lawrence is one crafty mo-fo.

I'd love to see this series end with JD and Elliot getting married and then in the final scene, Elliott thinking to herself..."Oh crap, I've made a mistake".

That would be a nice way to wrap it up.

Of course, I'd just about lose it if it ended with JD leaving Sacred Heart in the last episode and Dr Cox saying "Good bye Dr. Dorian" as he hugged him.

I'd cry like a little girl, i tell ya.

Absolutely not. At least not for me. I need some closure on my sitcoms.

Saved By the Bell: A wedding with Zack's parents coming through in the clutch for him and Kelly, even though they were against their marriage at that young age. Closure.

Boy Meets World: Cory, Topanga, Shawn and Eric said their goodbyes and took their show to New York. Closure.

Home Improvement: It was a fantastic clip show with a very good story line. Although it was a corny way to end the series -- with Tim driving the house from Detroit to Indianapolis -- it fit the show. Closure.

Full House: Michelle lives. Jeff Franklin messed up.

The point is, for me, if Elliot or JD second-guessed their marriage and we were left hanging with that, I'd be disappointed.

I think JD and Elliot will get together because they will have come full circle. When they first fucked, they were interns and reached out to each other because they were scared. Now, they really know each other and truly care for each other.

Maybe it's on this page, and maybe it was from a PM. But BYH had a really good idea about the ending. Perhaps he'll grace us with that on this thread.

After receiving the expressed, written consent of BYH, I now present to you Webster's, he says, theory on the ending of Scrubs, circa Feb. 19: "Someone posted on one of the Scrubs threads a really interesting theory: That, in the end, the whole show will have been a fantasy in JD's mind and he'll be in a loony bin somewhere. That makes a lot of sense if you think about it...no way this show just ends neatly. Lawrence is going to throw a curveball.

Plus, it would make Ben's words--"None of this is real"--ring particularly true."

I'm not certain I buy that JD's in an asylum, but I can definitely see the dream thing. Though it's been done in Roseanne, most recently (I think that's the most recent, at least). Bill Lawrence is probably much more creative than I am, though, so it's probably something well beyond my thought process.

I say let the whole show be a daydream in the mind of Rowdy.

JD (at age 18): "You know Rowdy, one day Turk and I are going to be doctors. Too bad you won't be around for that."

Camera flashes to Rowdy, sitting on floor. His eyes venture up to the right and we get a super-fast recap our the entire show. Camera pans back to Rowdy.

Rowdy (thinking): 'Aint no way they're going to stuff me when I'm dead.

    Camera fades to black.
