A tangent problem is that Anonymous thinks it can deliver THE TRUTH! without any consequences.

What if a lynch mob yesterday stormed over to the alleged shooter cop's house and burned it down?

That presser was a shit show.

It looked like it was over, then he finally says the officer's name, and wraps it up.

But, before that, he gives the timeline, in which he says the officer was on one call, and then responded to a call regarding a robbery at a convenience store.

After getting that call, the officer comes across Brown and his friend.

This almost sounds like he's accusing Brown of robbing the store. At the least, it explains that the officer engaged Brown because he was black, and, well, so was the person who robbed the store.

Either way, people are not thrilled.

The cops must be very disappointed that Brown did not have a criminal record, and/or that the toxicology tests must have come back negative. (I'm guessing. If they were positive, we likely would have heard about it.) Would have been much easier for them to blame the victim in either case.

Did they discuss the surveillance video from the store?

    No. Not at all.

That was apparently in the packet they gave to the press, but he didn't bring it up.

I guess they didn't want to actively accuse Brown of robbery. Seems they preferred to let the media make that decision.

Probably wise from a PR perspective.

They should have taken every question, and answered them to the best of their ability.

But, the guy giving the presser -- the chief apparently -- looked like he was a buffoon. He would not have done well.

Here are the images, and it is apparently Brown:

Obviously that doesn't mean he should have been gunned down in cold blood.

But, after that confrontation, his adrenaline was surely pumping. And if he was carrying six stolen cigars, you could understand why he may not have been happy to have a cop come across him so quickly.

So all about the blunts, huh?

Not sure we know that he was "gunned down in cold blood" so it is probably best to avoid such a characterization. No?

Oh, agreed. I just meant that if he was "gunned down in cold blood" as alleged by some, it wasn't justified by Brown stealing 6 cigars.

It does sound like Brown was not stopped simply for being black, and in the vicinity of a crime.

He matched a specific description, from his height to his clothes.

    So, the stop sounds legit.

What happens then is in dispute.
