At this point, there's one side that has its story straight, and it's not the cops.

The whole "beat the crap out of an innocent guy, then charged him for property damage for bleeding on them, then lied about it under oath" thing is enough to make me want to riot.

The entire Ferguson Police Department should be wiped out and replaced.

Stealing is acceptable as long as you do it on a small enough scale? Bullshit.

Whether or not that is relevant to this discussion is another matter. Unfortunately, the police can't seem to get the story straight.

Everything is in degrees in our society; please remember that. Our country was not built on absolutes.

Stealing a box of cigars ($10?) is not acceptable behavior and is to be frowned upon.

But killing that person while he is unarmed and 35 ft away (still more than a room away) so far exceeds the bounds of acceptable behavior by our law enforcement personnel that it should be condemned.

But kill someone sitting on their porch on the Southside of Chicago -- perfectly fine.

The local police has already FUBAR'd the case from the beginning. It'll take the FBI to sort it out credibly.

I do love how this case has split the right: "LAW AND ORDER!!!" vs. "GOV'T OVERREACH!!!!"

And if that's what happened, I hope we have enough proof to get a conviction.

Look at the first picture. He only has one foot on the ground. He's literally lifting him off of his feet.

Pretty clear he's stumbling from the contact and not being lifted off his feet.
