I love how everyone made the local cops out to be a bunch of keystone cops, who couldn't properly deal with the demonstrations.

So, the governor steps in, and appoints the State Highway Patrol to take over.

We get one night of calm, and everyone celebrates.

Then we get one night of tumult, and now that it's the governor's ass on the line, and folks are asking why the cops didn't prevent looting, the governor declares a state of emergency, and imposes a curfew.

The first night of the curfew, despite crowd size suppressed by rain, the cops had to bring in the heavy equipment, had to fire smoke bombs, and at least one tear gas canister. They broke out the gas masks. They had to arrest seven folks, and at least one person was shot, and is in critical condition.

Great job Gov. Nixon and the State Highway Patrol. You really showed how it's done.

 

Obama doesn't even have a previous job. He's been wasting time his whole life.
