It's so people don't get her confused with Craig T. Nelson.

Me neither. Maybe the hundreds of journalists in the areas can try to find one or two of them.

Matt Lauer with Michael Brown's mother:

Matt Lauer: Ms. McSpadden, what will bring peace to the streets of Ferguson?

Lesley McSpadden: Justice. Justice will bring peace, I believe.

Matt Lauer: Only if that justice results in the arrest or charges being filed against officer Wilson? Is that what it's going to take?

Lesley McSpadden: Yes. Him being arrested. Charges being filed, and a prosecution. Him being held accountable for what he did.

Ferguson police officials would not quantify how many looters have been arrested since the Brown shooting but presented a Washington Post reporter with a stack of roughly 50 arrest reports. While some of those arrested for stealing are from Ferguson, a large number have addresses listed in Illinois or in Texas.

It's about a particularly callous comment made by the relative of a guy accused of killing a cop in a confrontation. The relative said the confrontation wouldn't have happened if the officer hadn't gotten out of his car. There is universal feeling that relative was a stone dumb-ass.

As for those Chicago cop blogs with a "wide following in law enforcement" -- they aren't merely un-PC. They're racist as all hell. They reveal that there are people who become police officers just so they can push people around, especially black people. In Chicago, these cops have their own cop ghettos they live in, and God help you if you stand up to them, or even their children. Plenty of cops are good people; when my kids were going to Catholic school -- in a school two blocks outside the city limits -- there were a lot of Chicago cops kids there BECAUSE they couldn't stand all the bullshit from the other cops and their kids in the Catholic schools in their neighborhood.

Robin Roberts had her on GMA yesterday.

Seems like she and much of the black community feel strongly that this kid was wrongfully killed and that the ridiculous delay in naming the officer and releasing information combined with the astonishingly ugly attempt to smear the dead kid with the convenience store footage amount to a cover-up attempt. Authorities in Ferguson brought this on themselves in many ways.

Some folks rush to WTO, Occupy or Ferguson to confront the police. Others go to a ranch in Nevada to do the same thing.
