For 10 days? With an "eye witness" video that shows not a trace of blood or discoloration or him attending to the injury at any time? With Rome burning all around them and their people squarely in the middle? Sorry. Not buying it.

Again, if that is truly what happened, police or prosecutors would've had a press release touting the "heroic deed" to the media within minutes of the incident. The good ones might've even set up a photo op for that afternoon, too.

'14 won't matter much. Just the same gridlock by a group more inclined to obstruct than govern.

    352.

When Reid is in the minority, he won't be able to obstruct.

So, is the narrative on the St. Louis Police shooting locked in to the degree that we're still supposed to be praising them, while condemning what happened in St. Louis.

Because, I'm not sure that's going to work out so well for much longer.

A full video of the police shooting is available on line.

I would link to it, but for our new policy against linking to executions.

12 shots, all fired within 15 seconds of the police rolling up.

Have the St. Louis Police released the names of the cops involved yet

Has anyone interviewed the deceased's tearful parents? Have we discussed the fact that he may have been mentally disturbed?

Can the media only focus on one narrative at a time? Are they focusing on the wrong shooting?

If I asked you the name of the St. Louis shooting victim, could you name him without Googling his name?

Won't have enough to override any vetoes.

A man wielding a knife outside a north St. Louis convenience store was shot dead on Tuesday by St. Louis city police officers, whose department then moved fast to release video and 911 tapes related to the incident.

The shooting came less than two weeks after 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot dead in nearby Ferguson, also by a police officer. The St. Louis shooting further inflamed protesters in a community already raw with anger over police aggression.

In a video released by police, shot on a witness' cellphone, the man, 25-year-old (redacted, google it), can be seen pacing while he apparently waits for police officers to arrive outside the store.

Soon, they do, and within a minute (redacted) is dead on the street, shot 12 times by the two responding officers. Many of the shots were fired after (redacted) hit the sidewalk. He then lays there, occasionally moving, for another 30 seconds and doesn't appear to receive any aid from the police who fired the shots.

Great...who cares about the duly elected representatives of the people? Who cares about a co-equal branch of government? President Chip-Shot has a veto pen!
