I'm sorry about this, but the twisted part of my mind wishes that Arkansas-Texas would have gone on and played Saturday. Might have been a game that rivaled the 69 showdown in history. You don't get these chances often enough.

 

A KHOU reporter is now tresspassing on private property for his live shot. Walking around on some guy's back porch and the guy isn't there.

 

UH-Air Force will be on CBS College Sports tomorrow. They're playing in Dallas at SMU though. Plenty of chance for biblical quantities of rain.

 

What is UTMB?

There is apparently a huge fire either burning there or at a port.

KHOU saying the fire is coming from the port, not UTMB. Yacht basin fuel dock is location of fire.

Depends how far west the eye goes. Dallas should be on the lighter side, so it'll rain but I'm hoping it won't be torrential.

And I thought Houston-Air Force was at Texas Stadium.

Looking at the radar on KHOU it sure looks like the Louisiana coast is getting a shitload of wind and rain right now.

 

I'm not afraid to admit to you all that I am officially very, very scared about this storm.

I don't know if Ike is going to affect anyone else on the board, but it will be going directly over myself, AA and all close members of our family. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
