When my friend defines it, I can.

I wasn't trying to be a dick, just wondering what that meant.

No fucking way the Texans play Monday night.

I'm sure Reliant was built to withstand the winds ... but nobody who evacuated is gonna be allowed in.

In fact, the Stros may end the year on the road.

Wow, I've got a feeling that most of those people that stayed in Galveston have died.

KHOU just had one of their reporters in a hotel and the windows are blowing out and there is major amounts of water coarsing through the stairwells and some in the hallways.

That's in the interior section of the hotel.

Yeah, I've got to think those giant windows at Minute Maid will probably blow out.

Any word on whether or not the opened the roof or closed it?

Alex Sanz of KHOU, I hope you live through the night.

His station has him driving around downtown and he is reporting that steel is peeling off of the skyscrapers and falling to the streets below. There is also an enormous amount of glass raining onto the streets.

    Insane.

That storm made a significant veer to the right for Houston to be fully on the lesser side of it, not even getting a sliver of the eye.

I assume that is a good thing, right?

Also, they are saying the worst of the storm is hitting Galveston right now. I guess the back side of it is pretty brutal. Crazy to think it made landfall about 5 hours ago there.

Inside the loop may not have gotten the eye, but it got a bellyful of the eyewall.
