i think the fact that ike hit during the middle of the night so you couldn't see what was happening may have skewed the view of the damage. check this slide show out for a daylight look.

Ok, Fox News Channel puts this graphic below Jerry Rivers while he reports from Galveston...

Geraldo takes direct hit from Hurricane Ike.

    Are you f'in kidding me?

Geraldo's his own country, unto himself. Hell, he's like Chuck Norris. WWGD? Besides, that's what you get for watching Fox News.

They had a choice? "Actually, we're gonna pass on that. Ocho Cinco already had a vacation scheduled in the Bahamas. You know, one of those nonrefundable deals."

Shit, if I'd known Geraldo was going to take a direct hit I'd have rooted for Ike to be a Cat. 5.

If the NFL is smart, the teams didn't have a choice.

But you saw how the MLB mishandled the Astros postponements, right? ;)

Apparently, he was able to swap the weekend at his time share with an accountant from Queens.

Having endured the less-nasty side of the storm in west Houston last night, all I can say is godspeed to all those who were in the fiercest part. We got hammered by 80+ winds for several hours, with bigger gusts, and the rain was off and on, but I can only imagine what it was like in the surge zones. This is gonna be a long recovery process.

Hurricane 2muchcoffeeman would be pleased to be the next hurricane to give Geraldo a direct hit. ;D

Actually, in all seriousness, no. Haven't kept up with everything today. What happened? Never a surprise to see "MLB" and "mishandled" next to each other.

Selig let that cheap fuck McLane hold MLB hostage in hopes that his weekend sellout could be salvaged. Fuck him.
