Don't worry SP. There are only two more NLCS games left.

He said LCS. The example you cited was the World Series. Two different things.

    His first two sentences were:
"Can you come back after losing the first two games at home? It hasn't happened yet. "

Yes, it has happened ... more than once.

Because it hasn't happened in the LCS, does not mean it hasn't happened.

I'm not normally one to complain about late games or pull the "lets think of the children!" card when it comes to prime time start times.

But 2:45 a.m. to end a game is fucking cracked. I don't care if its extra innings or not. The fucking game ended at 2:45 a.m. Fuck that fucking noise.

Get a fucking clue, MLB. Day playoff games don't seem to hurt the NFL. Have one game start at 3 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m.

Did anyone see the Stephen King interview during the Red Sox/Indians game?
I believe it was Chris Meyers who did the on field interview.
Anyways, King had a book in his hand so Meyers asked King what he was reading and if it was one of King's own book.

King repsonded, "Why would I, I already know the ending."

    I thought that was hilarious.
I would expect that kind of a question from Jim Gray but NOT Chris Meyers.

    LOL!!!

    Gotta agree with that.

I will say, I like the fact that they're not totally fucking viewers in the ass by staggering the start times (which Fox often doesn't do when it has a monopoly on the LCS.) No way in hell anyone should have to choose which game to watch, when there's only two games going on in the entire fucking sport.

But a 7 p.m. start time in the West is unnecessary.

What time do Friday games usually start in Arizona?

I understand that it's up to MLB, Buck. I just don't see anything wrong with a 7:15 PDT start in Arizona on a Froiday night.
The 8:40 World Series start in Eastern time zone cities is worse to me.

No, the most hilarious part about that interview was when they asked about reading books at the game. He mentioned that he could read 18 pages just in between innings during a game. "But because FOX is doing the games now, I can read 27 pages in between innings now."

The funniest part would have been if Myers said "You do know that Terry Francona wants to slug you, right?"

I'm on PDT, so I don't mind it, either. :D

I just don't see why a league or TV executive would have any desire to start a game at 7 p.m. PDT/MST when there are only two games being played in the entire sport today. Are the ratings really that much higher? No. Is it that much more convenient for the fickle Phoenix fans, or the two teams? Not really.

What's the problem with starting this game at 1 p.m. locally, and then the Boston-Cleveland game following (at a regular 7 p.m. start)?

Nothing at all wrong with that. It's the way it should be but never will be again.

And why, if FOX has a Game of the Week every Saturday at 3:55, do they have an 8:15 start in Boston tomorrow night and an 8:30 EDT on TBS in Colorado on Sunday night when there is only one game each day?
